VASCO: The Vasco police on Saturday detained a youth wanted in several crimes at Uttar Pradesh (UP) and handed him over to UP police.
Vasco PI Kapil Nayak said that the accused Shaktiman Bind (23), a native of Jaunpur, UP was residing at Vasco. He was wanted in Gopalganj Police station of Badohi District for various crimes under the UP Gangsters Act for his involvement in property and body offences.
Bind was currently supplying workers from Uttar Pradesh to Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), Vasco. He was first detained and later handed over to the Gopalganj police for further investigation.
