Valpoi Police have arrested Mohammad Irshad, a native of Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly possessing a forged Aadhaar card. The arrest was made at Istiyakahmad Akbar Ali Shah’s scrapyard in Nanus, Sattari.
Police said Irshad had arrived in Goa around 20 days ago with the intention of selling spare parts. Further investigation is underway to verify his background and determine how the forged identity document was obtained.
