MARGAO: Cuncolim Police on Wednesday arrested an Uttar Pradesh native one Dharmendra Yadav under Goa Daman and Diu Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1985 based on the complaint filed by Quepem Mamlatdar.
The police said the Quepem Mamlatdar received an inspection report from the Directorate of Mines and Geology on October 20.
As per the March 5, 2020 inspection report in Naqueri-Quepem, the accused, a mini-truck driver, extracted rubbles and transported them without any transit pass issued by the competent authority .
Based on the complaint, Assistant Sub Inspector Suresh Velip registered an offence. Cuncolim Police arrested the accused in Chinchinim.
