PANJIM: The Cyber Crime Police arrested one Uttar Pradesh native for allegedly sending obscene contents to a woman over social media.
Information shared by Superintendent of Cyber Crime Cell Shobhit Saxena stated that Kamlesh Sajivan was arrested for the offence and the electronic gadget recovered from his possession.
“Accused namely Kamlesh of Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh was arrested for transmitting obscene/objectionable contents to the female residence of Valpoi over WhatsApp social media platform and (police) recovered mobile phone and SIM cards used for the commission of the crime,” it said.
