VASCO: The Vasco Police arrested 18-year-old Uttar Pradesh native one Manoj Kumar, currently residing in Vasco and rescued a 13-year-old girl from a hostile location in Delhi.
The police said the minor girl and the accused had boarded a train on March 28 to Delhi.
Further, after reaching Delhi, the girl reportedly called her close friend to inform about her farewell.
Meanwhile, Kumar also contacted his friend seeking monetary help. After receiving this information, Vasco Police left for Delhi on Wednesday and rescued the girl.
Both the girl and the accused were brought to Vasco Police Station.
Kumar has been placed under arrest and further investigation is in progress.
