CANACONA: A 48-year-old female tourist from USA allegedly committed suicide on Sunday by strangulating herself with the help of a rope in a room rented at Colomb in Canacona, said a police official. The deceased was identified as Sherrylee Dunn, a citizen of USA. She had arrived in Goa as a tourist, police said.
After conducting a scene panchanama police sent her body for preservation and post mortem to Hospicio hospital, Margo.
“We have registered a case of unnatural death in the incident and the local FRRO, Panjim is intimated as per the requirements” and “no foul play is suspected in the incident” added a source at the police station.
