MAPUSA: Commenting on the statement of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant “we cannot predict COVID,” Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday said that the Chief Minister can neither predict nor control the COVID pandemic.
“The Chief Minister and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane have no clue of COVID pandemic. Under AAP’s pressure Rane announced Oximeter kits for home isolation patients but can the Chief Minister ‘predict’ and tell people of Goa when these kits will be made available to home isolation patients,” said Rahul Mhambre, interim convenor of AAP.
“Indian Medical Association has discontinued the services of providing health consultation on the phone which the Chief Minister failed to ‘predict’. Re-infection of two GMC doctors cannot be ignored and the risk getting infected to the virus is increasing day by day. We have been asking the government to use scientific measures to plan for better COVID management. If not planned in time then the situation will worsen,” Mhambre added.
