PONDA: In view of 21-day lockdown, the Usgao villagers as well as sarpanch have opposed the functioning of Nestle factory during lockdown period.
Usgao locals said they strongly oppose the operations of the factory during lockdown period.
The locals showed a copy of Ponda deputy collector, dated March 30, which authorises company manager Shankar Bhandare to issue passes to the person and the vehicles mentioned by the company in its application to deputy collector.
Locals said that the factory operations should be started only after 21-day lockdown..
