PONDA: Shivdas Mosso Gaude (45), a resident of Palwada in Usgao, died due to an accident near Samrrudi Hotel at Usgao circle on Friday at around 9.20 am.
According to Ponda PI Harish Madcaikar, Gaude was travelling on his scooter to Usgao cattle feed plant where he is employed, when a truck trailing him knocked to him down near Samrrudi Hotel. The victim was shifted with serious injuries to Usgao Public Health Centre, where he was declared brought dead. Ponda police have registered an offence against truck driver Udaybhan Umakant Ram (28), from Uttar Pradesh.
