PONDA: Ponda police registered an offence against two Usgao residents for molesting a pregnant migrant woman on August 30.
Ponda Police Sub-Inspector Vikram Naik informed that one of the accused took the Usgao resident, who was two months pregnant, to Ponda ID Hospital by car after she complained of uneasiness. While returning home, he called his friend and both of them molested her in the car.
After registering a case of molestation, Ponda police are on the lookout for the accused.
It is learnt that accused also manhandled the victim’s husband to dissuade him from complaining to police. Police identified one of the accused as Balkrishna from Tisk, Usgao.
