PANJIM: An Uzbekistan national is among five persons arrested for holding hostage a 34-year-old in an apartment in one of the posh areas of Caranzalem. A special team formed within minutes of receiving a complaint of kidnapping, rescued Deepak Kumar, a Maharashtra native. The man was kidnapped from Taleigao at 4 am on June 5, Sunday.
Antariksh Singh, Amber Singh, Monika Priya, all from Bihar; Varad Mundada of Maharashtra; and Abitjanovna from Uzbekistan were soon apprehended.
