VALPOI: A 51-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to a cashew tree near his residence at Dhad-Savorde, Valpoi.
According to Valpoi PI Sanjay Dalvi, Raju Nair committed suicide by hanging with the help of a sari. The incident came to light on Friday at about 7.15am, when Raju’s brother-in-law noticed the body hanging to the tree.
Police conducted the panchnama and the body was sent to GMC Hospital in Bambolim for post-mortem. Police is investigating the case.
