PANJIM: Indian Police Service Officer Nidhin Valsan, who had been transferred to Goa in September and awaiting posting has been given the charge of Headquarters, replacing Superintendent of Police Arvind Gawas (IPS).
In a transfer order released by Goa Police, Gawas will be heading the Traffic Department as he replaces Dinraj Govekar of the charge, who has been posted as Superintendent of Police (Security) with additional charge of State Police Control Room and Wireless.
SP Bosco George has been relieved of the additional charge whereas Superintendent of Police Mahesh Gaonkar who holds Special Branch, SIT Land Grab and Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) has been given additional charge of General Administration in the office of the Director General of Police.
