Vasco cops confident of nabbing murder accused

Vasco police has zeroed in on the man they believe to be responsible for the murder of a 23-year-old man from Bilaspure in Himachal Pradesh.
Though the prime accused is absconding, the police are confident of nabbing the accused following investigations into the murder.
Police sources told Herald that the accused, a resident of New Vaddem, had killed Ramkishan Sohail under the influence of alcohol.
Neighbours had also confirmed having heard a loud quarrel between the deceased and an unknown person on Tuesday night.
Police informed that a postmortem report had established that Sohail had died due to a stab injury on his chest.
The deceased had arrived in the State about three years ago and was working as a wielder.
