While banks take the necessary precautions to protect money from online scamsters, some fraudsters manage to find loopholes within the system. Keeping this in mind; Vasco PI Kapil Nayak has warned people against online scamsters and advised people not to share their personal information online. Nayak has also appealed to people not to fall prey to persons coming to houses as customer care executives, adding that money is transferred fraudulently by impersonators.
Vasco PI Kapil Nayak also informed that the Vasco police have begun a strict drive on tenant verification to check for illegal Bangladeshi residents. He said that strict action will be initiated against house owners who don’t do tenant verification.
