VASCO: The Vasco Police on Tuesday arrested Hanumant Kumbhar (46), a native of Balgalkot, Karnataka on the charge of stealing gold ornament worth Rs 1.10 lakh.
According to police, Carmelina D’Souza from Pixem Dongri, Vasco had filed a complaint stating that some unknown persons entered into her house and stole gold bracelet, weighing 20 grams worth Rs1.10 lakh, belonging to her daughter.
Following a complaint, the police arrested Kumbhar and recovered the stolen gold ornament from him.
The Vasco Police have registered a case against Kumbhar under Sections 457 and 380 of IPC. PSI Ganesh Matonkar is conducting further investigating under the guidance of PI Vasco Nitin Halarnkar.
