In a narcotic raid conducted at New Vaddem, the Vasco Police apprehended Rohan Saroj and seized 1kg of a drug suspected to be ganja worth around Rs 1 lakh.
Acting on reliable and specific information, a targeted narcotic raid was conducted, leading to the search for a Red and Black bike. The said vehicle was in the possession of the accused, Rohan Saroj, son of Lalji Saroj, around 23 years of age and residing near Santoshi Mata Temple, New Vaddem, Vasco Da Gama.
During the search, authorities discovered 1 kg of a dry greenish substance, suspected to be Ganja, with an estimated value of around Rs. 1,00,000/-. Following the findings, the accused was arrested and placed in police custody after undergoing a medical examination. Further investigations are on.
