Vasco: The Vasco police launched a tenant verification drive and have started inspecting and verifying the legality of those staying in rented rooms, houses and apartments under its jurisdiction.
Polic stated that they noticed that some of the house owners were deviating from sharing the information and the men in uniform have asked them out to submit the details about their tenants as part of social responsibility.
The team was led by Vasco PI Kapil Nayak and Sub Divisional Police Officer Salim Shaikh. Both have appealed to people to share information as it would be helpful in solving many cases and to be aware of tenants background.
