VASCO: Vasco Railway Station added yet another feather in the cap by becoming the first railway station among all other major stations of Hubballi division to emerge as the winner in Cleanliness Index for the third time.
Vasco Railway Station has been selected as the best maintained major station of Hubballi division of South Western Railway for 2017-18. The efficiency shield was presented to the officials of Vasco Railway Station by divisional railway manager, Hubballi during the annual Railway Week celebrations held recently.
“The station was earlier selected twice for the same award, including the best maintained station among the whole of south western railway in the recent past. I am happy that during my tenure as station manager Vasco Railway Station has been selected for such prestigious award and we will continue with our efforts to keep our position intact,” said P C Chacko, Station Manager of Vasco Railway Station.
