VASCO: This year too, Shri Damodar Bhajani Saptah celebrations will be low-key due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the sources, Deputy Collector Dattaraj Desai during a meeting held in his office with regards to the annual Saptah said the celebrations this year will be low-key and as per the government rules. The Saptah will be celebrated on August 14 and 15.
Bhajani Saptah Committee secretary said, “Only those members who have been issued identity cards will be allowed. The devotional service will be performed by the Joshi family.”
Vasco Traffic Police Inspector Sudesh Narvekar said, “The traffic arrangements will like last year. To prevent crowding of devotees, the Mormugao Municipal Council will install barricades.”
