VASCO: The Shree Damodar Bhajani Saptah celebration which kick-started on Saturday afternoon concluded on Sunday, with the immersion of sreefal (coconut) in the Arabian Sea at Khariwada jetty following COVID SOPs.
The Saptah celebration had commenced on Friday with the offering of a new coconut to Lord Damodar. After performing rituals, devotees chanted ‘Bola Pundalik Varde Hari Vithal’ to begin the festival.
On Sunday shreefal, which was anointed before Lord Damodar last year, was taken in procession along with dindi from temple premises to Khariwada fishing jetty.
