Vasco Traffic cop dies of sudden ailment

A police sub-inspector attached to Vasco Traffic Police died of sudden ailment on Monday.
PSI Laxman S Komarpant, 52, who vomited blood at around 7 in the morning, was admitted to a privet hospital for treatment. He was later shifted to GMC, Bambolim after his condition deteriorated. He died in the evening at 4.
Komarpant is a native of Canacona, but was residing at Chicalim Police Quarters.
Komarpant has served the Goa police force for over 30 years. He was posted to Vasco traffic police five year ago.
Komarpant is survived by his widow, a son and two daughters.
