Vehicles parked along the Dabolim junction to Varnapuri highway, Goa, pose a danger to commuters while also disrupting the flow of traffic. Vasco traffic PI Shailesh Narvekar warned such vehicle owners against parking on highways.
If the vehicles are not moved from the highway, the police will issue challans against the vehicle owners, Narvekar said. Abandoned vehicles across the highways have also been served notices to remove the vehicles.
