Vasco woman succumbs

A 20-year-old woman from Mangor Hill, Vasco, who had set herself ablaze after an argument with her husband last week, succumbed to burn injuries.
It may be recalled that Heena Togri and Mehboob had tied the knot barely eight months ago, but were frequently found arguing during the past few days.
Heena, who set herself on fire in the presence of her husband, sustained major burn injuries, while Mehboob had also sustained burn injures on his hands and other parts of body in a bid to rescue his wife. Both were admitted in GMC Hospital. Vasco Police has registered a case of unnatural death and SDM is investigating the case.
