Vascoite killed in Cortalim mishap

A 30-year-old man of Mestawado-Vasco died, after his motorcycle hit an ice-cream handcart on the Zuari Bridge at Cortalim on Wednesday morning.
According to Verna Police PI S M Vaigankar, the incident occurred when Nandakumar Shinde (Nandu), a sales executive at a pharmaceutical company at Verna, was proceeding towards Panjim.
Police further said that the deceased died due to head injuries, as he was not wearing his helmet at the time of mishap. Verna police have registered a case of accident.
