Vegetable vendors from villages around Mapusa demand permanent place in town’s market

MAPUSA: Vegetable vendors from the villages around Mapusa have demanded permanent place in the town’s market for carrying out their business. 
Recently, Mapusa market inspector seized vegetable stock of vendors from, Moira, Bastora Nachinola and Aldona and stopped them from doing business in the market.
Following this, the vendors met Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo and demanded permanent place in Mapusa market for doing their business.
They complained to the MLA that they have been stopped from doing business at Mapusa market. The vendors requested Ticlo to register them under MMC and give them permanent place to do business in Mapusa market.
After listening to the grievances, Ticlo assured the vegetable vendors from him constituency to give them permanent place at Mapusa market.
