PANJIM: Custodial interrogation of the two vehicle thieves, Nitin Naik and Ajay Rathod who were arrested by the north Goa district’s anti-burglary squad on Sunday, has solved another criminal case involving notorious criminal Naik alias Kumbarjuvekar.

The ongoing investigation found that Naik has three other cases at Margao police station and two cases before the Vasco judicial magistrate under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.  The squad headed by PI Jivba Dalvi had arrested Naik and Rathod with the two stolen Swift cars –GA-07-C-5514 and GA-03-P-9014– at toll naka in Mumbai on Sunday.
