Vendor held for assaulting scribe in city

PANJIM, JAN 19 
A vegetable vendor was arrested after a complaint of assaulting a photojournalist at Panjim market, today evening.
The photojournalist with a vernacular daily was clicking pictures of the vegetables when one Hyder Ali obstructed him. He along with three other men attacked the photojournalist but the latter managed to escape and call the police.
After a formal complaint with the Panjim police, Ali was arrested and later bailed out. Photo Journalist Association Goa has condemned the attack.
