With the anticipation of BJP victory for the North Goa Parliamentary seat, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant congratulated Shripad Naik for leading in North Goa with a promising lead against the Congress. CM along with BJP state President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, Minister Subhash Phaldessai and other BJP leaders celebrated the anticipated victory.
CM further stated that the upcoming victory for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be bestowed to the BJP and the current government will once again rule the nation for the third time. “Double engine will come into power. We have accepted the feedback which public has given to us through the election and we are very grateful for the results of North Goa. Once again I thank the entire state for electing us to the North Goa parliamentary seat.”

Shedding light on the defeat of Pallavi Dempo in South Goa, Priol MLA Deviya Rane said, “It very disheartening that for the first time, a chance was given to a female candidate in Goa but things didn’t go in our favour. It’s not like that the candidate didn’t work hard, she left no stone unturned in terms of campaigning.”
