Coming up with the latest update, the counting of the postal ballots has already begun in both centres. The postal ballot system was initiated for senior citizens and disabled people who were unable to cast their votes at their respective polling booths. Hence postal ballot voting system was initiated by the ECI specifically for them.
The Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and VVPATs were taken by the officials for counting.
