PORVORIM: Legal Advisor at the Directorate of Education Dayanand Javdekar said that Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) is the backbone of the school and that it is the duty of the PTA is to look after interest of students.
He was speaking at the PTA meeting of V M Parulekar Higher Secondary School at Unity Hall, Betim-Verem.
He said further that it is the responsibility of the institution to train students to face the challenges of life.
Principal U D Salkar said imparting quality education is the prime objective of the school.
Two retired teachers, Mohammad Raffique and Mohan Kalangutker were felicitated and seven meritorious students were also felicitated for their performance in the Board exam.
