PANJIM: A panchayat member of Verla-Canca has been accused of fraudulently mutating Form I & XIV of owners to insert names of new owners by producing fake sale deeds. A complaint has been filed before the SIT by Edward Martins and two others alleging that the sale deed was allegedly fabricated by Agacio D’Souza and his brother Marcel Agnelo D’Souza to show the new owner as Marcel Agnelo D’Souza on Form I & XIV.
Martins, Dominic D’Souza and Anna Marie Lobo, grandchildren and heirs of Domingos Xavier De Souza have claimed that their ancestral properties bearing survey numbers 55/26 and 55/20 situated at Freitas Vaddo, Verla Bardez, which belong to their grandfather have been fraudulently mutated and names changed to a new owner.
