VASCO: The Verna-Cortalim stretch of the national highway will be closed for traffic from June 24 to October 15 between 11 pm and 7 am.
Traffic during the above period will be diverted via Dabolim due to the construction of the new Zuari Bridge.
According to a government notification, traffic will be diverted from the Verna Titan junction along the NH-17 and NH-17B MES College, Zuarinagar junction-Airport junction, Dabolim-Chicalim junction (NH-17A) Cortalim junction (NH 17 and NH 17A and vice-versa.
The notification states that spine segment/wing segment transportation from casting yard to site location shall be permitted during peak hours of the day.
