VASCO: An 18-year-old girl from Verna died due to poisoning.
According to the police, they received a call from Casualty Police, Hospicio Hospital, Margao, informing that one girl was brought dead as a case of poisoning at home.
Police disclosed that the after conducting inquest panchanama the body was referred for post mortem examination wherein the doctor certified the cause of death as due to “oral poisoning”, viscera preserved for further chemical analysis. No foul play suspected.
