Verna villagers have cried foul about pollution of water bodies, auction of SEZ land and waste and effluent disposal by Verna Industrial Estate industries by night. They demanded that some guards may be kept on duty at night to monitor the situation. They also demanded that no more industries be granted permission due to the water shortage.
