PANJIM: Vice-President of India M Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Goa on Thursday by a special aircraft from Ranchi Airport.
On his arrival at Dabolim, the Vice-President was received by Governor Dr Mridula Sinha, Speaker Pramod Sawant, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho, Chief Secretary Dharmendra Sharma and others.
During his visit, Naidu will plant a sapling at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula on September 28 and thereafter attend the convocation ceremony of National Institute of Technology Goa at Kala Academy.
