VASCO: The Victory Flame of Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1971 Indo-Pak war victory arrived at INS Gomantak, here, on Saturday.
In a press note issued by Indian Navy, the Flame was received by Rear Admiral Phillipose G Pynumootil, Flag Officer Commanding Goa Area, at the war memorial erected in honour of those who made supreme sacrifice during Operation Vijay, in the presence of Army and Navy personnel. The Flame was later taken to 3 Military Training Regiment, Margao.
