Margao: Reacting to the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant’s allegations, former deputy chief minister Vijai Sardesai said this is a diversionary tactic from the pertinent issues, which we have raised regarding Mhadei and the property of the CM in Dodamarg.
Vijai said, “This is a diversionary tactic from the pertinent issues we have raised on proposed reverse merger and his love for Dodamarg and also the issue of Mhadei, which he has failed to get the approval of MoEF. You have made mistakes and are pointing fingers at me to hide yours. If I had to support the Congress they would have had their Chief Minister and you would have been nothing,” said Vijai.
“Corruption is when you are in power and I have been in power between 2017 and 2019. The issue, he (CM) is raising is from 2007 when I was not even an MLA,” alleged Vijai and claimed that whatever he has, is an open book, which is with the Lokayukta.
