PORVORIM: Town and Country Planning (TCP) Minister and Goa Forward Party (GFP) leader Vijai Sardesai on Monday called for a mid-term assessment of performance of the ministers of the coalition government.
“Mid-term assessment of performance of all the ministers needs to be done. We will do the performance assessment of our Goa Forward ministers,” Sardesai said. He also called for the need to debate on retirement age of people active in politics.
Speaking of the party’s expansion plans, Sardesai said they will expand Goa Forward without troubling the alliance partners. “We are not going to be a party with three MLAs in the next elections, we will go pan Goa. We are trying to promote good leadership, basically from the young generation and every section of the society. This leadership is organic and not from the top,” he added
