Vijai lashes out at Girish for comment on TCP meeting

Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardessai on Friday lashed out at Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President (GPCC) Girish Chodankar for his comments on the Town and Country Planning Board Meetings getting adjourned at present. He pointed out that the 137th meeting of the TCP Board was adjourned four times between November 8, 2010 and March 4, 2011 and the meeting was held four times during this period when Digambar Kamat was the chief minister and chairman of the board. He said that Girish should study the matter thoroughly rather than going only by the notices. He said that there was nothing wrong in the 163rd meeting of the Board under his chairmanship being adjourned four times. Besides, he pointed out that Congress MLA Filipe Neri Rodrigues sits to his right at the board meetings by virtue of being a member of the board and added that Filipe is aware of everything happening in the board and is free to raise any objection if necessary.
