Margao: The TCP Minister and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardessai paid a courtesy visit to the victims of footbridge collapse of Sanvordem. The Minister has promised to completely remove the bridge soon.
He discussed the event with the victims which unfolded at this old Sanvordem bridge on Thursday.
The ill fated footbridge over the Zuari river in Sanvordem had given way killing 3 men, injuring and nearly drowning over 20 men standing on the bridge. Rajaram Gaonkar, Mahadev Upar, Maturaj Kalgiri, Latif Shaikh, Ramesh Kumar, Victor Daniel and other victims have been admitted in the Hospicio on Thursday.
