PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who is also the Sanquelim BJP MLA, participated in the ‘Path Sanchalan’ event on Friday to mark the founder’s day of Rashtriya Swayamesevak Sangh (RSS). The day also coincided with Dussehra.

“Glimpses of ‘Path Sanchalan’ on RSS Sthapana Diwas, on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami at Bicholim. On this occasion, I extend my greetings to all Swayamsevaks in all their endeavours to serve the motherland,” Sawant tweeted.
RSS Swayamesevaks were celebrating the founders all over the country.
Sawant touched upon that note and how it is being celebrated throughout Goa as well.
Speaking to media persons after the function, Sawant pointed out that that this is an annual function and that last year they could not have it on the same scale due to COVID.
He also said it was important to preserve the culture as well as the peace and splendour of the State.
Bicholim MLA and Goa Speaker Rajesh Patnekar, also addressed media persons and said the traditions of the State and country need to be preserved. He also wished the public on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami and Dussehra.
