VALPOI: Valpoi locals on Monday said the Valpoi Municipal Council has totally failed to solve the parking and traffic issues in town.
Since the last five years, the Valpoi Municipal Council held several meetings and even on Monday on the parking and traffic issues in the town but till date has not found any solution as to how to solve the problem.
According to the locals, in town the shops have been built without having proper parking place. The customers who visit these shops to buy grocery are parking their vehicles on the road because the concerned shops do not have parking area. Due to this, the people are facing the parking and traffic problems daily.
“Also some shop owners have occupied the municipal property and some have done encroachment, this forces the people to park their vehicles in the middle of road. The VMC has failed to take action on these shops,” the locals added.
