PANJIM: Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu will be the chief guest for the 32nd annual convocation ceremony of Goa University to be held on February 24.
During the ceremony, 78 candidates will be awarded PhD and 76 meritorious students will receive 134 awards including gold medals, prizes and scholarships in various disciplines.
Governor and Chancellor of Goa University Satya Pal Malik and Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant will be the guests of honour.
This year 10670 students will be awarded degrees.
