In what could leave the government red-faced, Wagh alleged that Goa has been fully concentrating on high end tourists, ignoring ‘Athiti Devo Bhava’.
“We look at tourism only as a business. This is a wrong approach…why can’t we look at it as culture…Check the manner in which Kerala, Rajashtan and Srinagar promotes tourism. For them it is not revenue but culture,” he said during demands for grants on tourism department, during the ongoing monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly on Thursday.
