PANJIM: Deputy Speaker Vishnu Surya Wagh remains under observation at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. Wagh’s close aides said that the St Andre MLA’s condition, which was critical earlier, is now stabilising after treatment. Sources said he will be kept under observation for the next few days.

Wagh was airlifted to Hinduja hospital on August 18. He had suffered a cardiac arrest on August 15 and had been admitted at Goa Medical College and Hospital. At Hinduja he is being treated by a team of experts in neurology and cardiology.
Family members, close friends and Kala Academy vice chairman Raja Khedekar, who is at Hinduja hospital, have appealed to people not to spread rumors about Wagh’s health conditions.
