South Western Railway General Manager A K Gupta, Konkan Railway CMD Sanjay Gupta, Secretary (Revenue) Sudhir Mahajan, Finance Secretary Daulat Havaldar, PWD Chief Engineer S R Paranjape and GSIDC MD Sanjit Rodrigues were present for the review meeting.
It was decided that nodal officers will be appointed by Goa government and Railways for coordinating and addressing issues related to railway projects in Goa. Regular review meetings will be held between all the stake holders to complete the projects within the stipulated time. Status and progress of the railway projects will be monitored at the highest level.
Cansaulim Villagers earlier opposed the doubling of track and through this meet a solution to this problem has been sought. Prabhu has already sanctioned several over and under passes in South Goa in the past, some of which are under construction.
