MARGAO: Edson Gonsalves, who was detained under suspicion and subsequently released by the police in connection with Swapnil Walke murder and robbery case, has applied for an anticipatory bail.
Even though he was released by the police he has applied for an anticipatory bail. Edson applied for a bail at the North Goa Sessions Court and the permission of the Crime Branch in the matter has been sought. The case will be heard on September 14.
It may be recalled that Edson was one of the suspects who was detained by the police and was let off after the investigation.
