MARGAO: Town and Country Planning Minister and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai has said that he wants to make Lohia Maidan a vibrant place which can be used every day by people particularly the senior citizens.
Speaking to media persons, Vijai said that a private party that is helping in planning a smart city has made some suggestions for improving Margao and more particularly Lohia Maidan. He said these suggestions would be discussed with freedom fighters, local MLA Digambar Kamat and people in general.
“I want to make Lohia Maidan a vibrant place which can be used every day by people particularly the senior citizens,” he said hinting that one proposal was to design it like an amphitheatre with granite slabs for people to sit.
