WRD Minister Subhash Shirodkar inspected the water pump house, which is currently under construction at Bailpar Casarvane. Shirodkar informed that the pump house would be ready in the next two months thereby resolving the water issue in Pednem Taluka. The water pump house will comprise six pumps, of which three will be regular and one will be kept as a spare.
The locals who were protesting against the pump house questioned the minister about his whereabouts as to where he was when their homes were flooding and the river was overflowing.
